Our Mission
CT Parent Power is a parent-led organization with a mission to engage, educate and mobilize parents to act on children's issues. We work to make sure that parents are informed, mobilized, and ready to act. To do this, we bring timely, clear, and accurate information to Connecticut parents and deliver meaningful opportunities for parents to take action on children's issues. We provide training on how and when to take action as well as connections with other people statewide who are ready to protect and benefit children.
Our Priorities
As parents, we seek to strengthen a collective parent voice on the many statewide decisions affecting our children and families. Every other year, we conduct a statewide Parent Issue Survey. Based on the results of that survey we create policy priorities, for which we advocate for two years. Currently, these priorities are health care, early care and education and schools.
